REGISTRATION POLICY

Please register for your class online through Harnessupfitness.com or download the Acuity Client Scheduler app to your phone and find our business under Harnessupfitness.as.me

LATE ARRIVALS & CANCELLATIONS

We do not offer cash or credit card refunds.  ALL REFUNDS APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT WILL BE DONE IN THE FORM OF STUDIO CREDIT.  NO CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 4 HOURS OF YOUR SCHEDULED CLASS.  Canceling 4 hours or less before a class is considered a Late Cancel.  You will NOT be able to reschedule, and no refunds/credits will be honored.  If you need to cancel or reschedule you can do so on your Acuity account.  Students arriving more than 5 minutes late will not be allowed to join class.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  While we understand this can be frustrating, this is done with your safety in mind as joining a class after warming up increases your risk for injury.  We also want to acknowledge those clients and instructors already participating in class.  Introducing a student late to class is very disruptive to all participants.  Late students will forfeit the monies paid for that class.  We reserve the right to give your spot to another student who is present and, on the waitlist, if you are more than 5 minutes late.

Private mini sessions are non-refundable and are payable in advance when booking your day and time.

STUDIO USE POLICY

No food is allowed on the dance floor.  Beverage containers without lids are not allowed on the dance floor.  Chewing gum is not permitted during class.  Please be respectful of other students and keep electronic devices muted.

Unfortunately, for the safety of our trainers and clients, two hours before its scheduled time, any class with less than two participants signed up will be canceled.

Please ensure proper attire is worn for all classes.

For aerial, barre, and bungee classes: yoga type pants (either full length or ¾ capris), a sports bra and fitted shirts are best.  For bungee, gripped tennis shoes are the best so not to slide around.  For aerial and barre barefoot.

STUDENTS UNDER 18 YEARS POLICY

ALL STUDENTS UNDER 18 MUST HAVE A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN PRESENT.  Students 17 and under who do not come with a parent or legal guardian will NOT be allowed to participate in class.  Parents MUST remain in the studio for lessons until an instructor approves drop offs.  Unattended children are not allowed in the studio.  Please do not bring children to wait while you take classes.  You will not be allowed to take class and no refund will be given (unless prior approval has been authorized by the owner).

SAFETY

What are the risks of aerial arts?

Aerial arts are a great way to work out and express your creativity but there is still risk involved.  As with any activity performed off the ground, you should exercise extreme caution and never try to work above your skill level.  Common injuries include overuse injuries of the shoulders and back, pulled muscles, bruises, fabric burn, and vertigo from spinning or being upside down.  Other risks include but are not limited to sprains, broken bones, paralysis, or death.  Students participate at their own risk and will be required to sign a waiver and liability insurance form.

What are the risks of bungee fitness?

Bungee fitness is a high intensity, low impact workout; as with any activity performed attached to a harness there are times where a person could potentially hurt the body if not done properly.  We try our hardest to minimize any discomfort but occasionally a person could hurt the stomach or rib area.  All students participate at their own risk and will be required to sign a waiver and liability insurance form.  If you are pregnant or suspect you could be pregnant please do not sign up for classes.  If you have had any major surgeries please allow your body to fully heal before attempting to take any classes.
